Structure and dynamics of confined fluids and complex systems.

Influence of confinement on the structural, thermodynamic (liquid / gas phase transition) and dynamic properties of fluids through both experimental and numerical approaches.

 

 

Nanoalloys : structure and kinetics.

Effect of size reduction on the atomic arrangement of assembly of binary or ternary metal clusters : mechanisms of segregation, order-disorder at equilibrium and out of equilibrium, kinetics of growth and phase transition and ageing and in particular environmental effects (support and exposure to reactive gases).

 

 

Nanostructuration of polymers.

Study of nanostructuration phenomena that can be obtained by controlled phase separation or self-organization of block copolymers, in polymers confined in the form of thin films.

 

 

Mesophase emulsions : self-organization.

Influence of external parameters and composition on lipid structures, whether emulsified or not : focused on the « lipid mesophase / emulsifier » and « mesophase / external environment emulsions » interaction. Applications of nanostructured emulsions in cosmetics, in the food industry or in pollution control.
